Week 14 FLAFFL House Previews

Thursday Night Football
(10–2) Oakland Raiders Vs. (9–3) Kansas city Chiefs 8:25 (Est)

-Game Previews-

Here we are, week 14. The beginning of the fantasy playoff season. If you’ve managed to make it, congratulations! If not…. better luck next year.
On tap for TNF this week is a clash between 2 AFC west heavyweights. The Oakland Raiders will travel to arrowhead to take on a resurging Chiefs team with first place on the line. The history between these clubs dates back to 1960, with 115 games played. The Chiefs are ahead in the series 61–52–2. This is easily the most important game of the season so far for these clubs.
I expect the game plans to be more of the same for these teams. The Raiders will run to set up the pass. Crabtree will drop a couple balls. The chiefs will run, run and runsome more. Then throw the ball 5 yards or less down the field.
I have the Chiefs in the upset in this one. Look for them to control the clock, and exploit a vulnerable Raiders Defense.
Score- 17–14

-Fantasy preview-

-The Good: Derek Carr
Carr has been exceptional this year. Through 12 games he’s registered a 65% completion percentage, 3375 passing yards, and 24 touchdowns (with just 5 intersections). He’ll need to be on his game this week against a stingy KC Chiefs defense that just held Matt Ryan to one touchdown pass in week 13. If you’ve been rolling with Carr this whole year, I wouldn't stop now. He’s a low end QB1 for me this week.

-The Bad: Jeremy Maclin
One word that describes Maclin’s production this season.. disappointing. The former first rounder is on tract for the lowest numbers of his career. Across the board. Receptions, yards, and touchdowns. The lack of production can largely be contributed to injuries. The Raiders D is a great match-up, but I can’t trust Maclin as anything more than a WR3.

-The Ugly: Alex Smith
Mr. Dime N’ Dunk in the flesh. Averaging less than 240 yards a game, with just 11 touchdowns on the season. Can you believe Smith has only had 6;  300 yard efforts in his career? If you've made it to the fantasy playoffs, don’t let Smith ruin in now.
